Our proposal for Aspern Lakeside Park, in the new urban development area Aspern Seestadt in Vienna, is based on the idea of a strong foundation in which a multifaceted, dynamic and changeable content can take place. We want to integrate nature as a part of the urban development and our ambition is moreover to create an urban space that is also a dynamic social and ecological process, where a continuous and close relation between the park and its users is built up over time. The connections to the surrounding landscapes lay the foundation for the physical structure of the park.
