The main focus is on Lake Mälaren in the new waterfront project Tappström. The residential area is characterized by a defined orientation and by its extensive parks with panoramic views. The wide stretching parks create a coherent green ambience, which generates a wide spectrum of views, north-south facing facades, quiet courtyards and the feeling of spaciousness despite the high exploitation.

In the western region the building pattern is a reinterpretation of the older Ralph Erskine area, it borrows shape and direction but at the same time displays contrast. The eastern area, a landscape dense in forest-clad hills, allows for buildings with up to seven floors. The southern region may also be subject to further development to screen off the Oriflames factory. Along the border to the Erskine area in the west, less development creates a smooth transition to the existing pattern.

Architects: Anders Kling, Sofia Nylén, Lisa Hellberg in collaboration with Joliark. Client: Skanska. Project: A parallel study, development plan.
